this is where I'm at

There a building with a black roof in the center of this picture. I'm currently on the 3rd floor of that building in the south-easterly apartment. To my northwest is an elementary school with a red roof and a big empty parking lot that acts as an asphalt playground for the children. In the morning (around 9am when I don't have to work) the children act as my alarm clock with all their little screaming voices. If I'm feeling lazy I'll sleep through the 9am screaming and wait until I hear the screaming at recess a few hours later.
Currently the sky is not as clear as the photo shows. There is a big storm over my building with loud thunder and bright lightening. It occasionaly surprises me and I spontaneously shout "Holy Shit!" to the room. The newslady just told me that currently 5,100 people in the St. Louis area are without electricity, obviously I'm not one of them.
