We're Number One!!!
It was just annouced this week that St. Louis is "The Most Dangerous City in America," more dangerous that Detroit, Compton, or Echo Park. It's makes me think that I should have brought the shotgun back to the city when my Dad offered it.
I like to look at the bright side of things, so here is my list of why it's good to live in "The Most Dangerous City in America."
1. Right now I have a greater chance of being a victim of a violent crime than any of you, but I'm not worried about it. It makes me feel like a bad-ass.
2. Cheaper housing.
3. Plenty of parking downtown.
4. It builds character.
5. This one is my favorite. The cops have better things to worry about than speeding tickets and stupid traffic violations. It's a fact that I can drive 15 miles over the speed limit with an expired license plate in the city without getting pulled over. (I've even had cops driving behind me.) As soon as I cross the city limits it's a whole other story. Those damn suburban cops in West County have nothing better to do than pull you over. It's amazing what you can get away with in the city. (I'll probably get a speeding ticket tomorrow just for writing this.)
So everyone, please come visit. I'll be happy to show you the sights in "The Most Dangerous City in America."
