We're Number One!!!

It was just annouced this week that St. Louis is "The Most Dangerous City in America," more dangerous that Detroit, Compton, or Echo Park. It's makes me think that I should have brought the shotgun back to the city when my Dad offered it.

I like to look at the bright side of things, so here is my list of why it's good to live in "The Most Dangerous City in America."

1. Right now I have a greater chance of being a victim of a violent crime than any of you, but I'm not worried about it. It makes me feel like a bad-ass.
2. Cheaper housing.
3. Plenty of parking downtown.
4. It builds character.
5. This one is my favorite. The cops have better things to worry about than speeding tickets and stupid traffic violations. It's a fact that I can drive 15 miles over the speed limit with an expired license plate in the city without getting pulled over. (I've even had cops driving behind me.) As soon as I cross the city limits it's a whole other story. Those damn suburban cops in West County have nothing better to do than pull you over. It's amazing what you can get away with in the city. (I'll probably get a speeding ticket tomorrow just for writing this.)

So everyone, please come visit. I'll be happy to show you the sights in "The Most Dangerous City in America."

enough of this halloween shit....

More from the halloween felix took these pics.

i am always prepared !!

halloween party aftermath

so one thing that i had to deal with was my litle lady friend in baltimore. she texted me on fridya night to say she wants to take me to italy. (!) whatever, i'm thinking if you come through with the ticket, i'm still so there.... we'll see.

of course other things happening too. she told me her 15-year old sister is pregnant
and that her grandparents have taken her home to italy to live. to live properly, not slutty and all american-like...

this morning, she texted me again to say that she's goign to italy to take her sister back here with her to live. grandaparents have been stresing out the prego=sister and a pregnant woman shouldn't be stressed.

but oh, suposedly our italian trip is still gonna happen. i'll let you know when i know !! haha

fucked up ehh ?

El Parian

El Parian on Pico a few blocks east of Alvarado - get your fat butts out of the car and pound the pavement in order to grasp more fully the local scene. Go there for their goat stew/soup, and giant tacos (carne asada).

aftermath

hung over - just got home from the calarts halloween party. this infomercial was on tv. the magic bullet blender.

i drove through downtown . almost able to drive by some filming location. i found out last week that the transformer movie is being filmed downtown from a guy who works special effects at sony. the trick is to look for signs on the street that point to the scene being filmed. the only thing i saw was a sign that showed the way to extras parking. to top it off i almost ran over a photographer shooting this girl in the middle of the road moments before i had to make my left turn and the lights turning green on them. anytime you take your art to the road - you take you life and turn it over to crazy motorists !

to top off this morning, i found this

People actually read this crap

It looks like a smart-ass Louisville fan has found the blog. It's nice to know that they are intelligent enough to use the internet. The fan has taken offense to a past post about Three Things I Dislike About Louisville.
It shall be settled on the field.

Already fighting the winter and Dodger blues ? Maybe you are over-concerned with the Blue&Gold and Bowl (Mis) Opportunities ? How about being blinded by a sea of glaring red ? (ewwww)

Just think of Nancy and beautiful Chavez Ravine.

Today I tried to buy World Series tickets, and they sold out before I got a chance. Then, my roadtrip and tickets to the WVU vs. Louisville game fell through. This sucks.

Uhh, what's going on?

Are you guys witnessing the same disruption with the blog that I am? Lots of recent posts are disappearing. When I open the page, the latest post is back in September. What's going on with Blogger?

BBQ Junkie and some delicious looking meats. Even though the blog isn't really a listing of the bbq places around. It is enough to get my mouth watering...
