Glad to see you'll be moving up in the world. Maybe by the time you move to the as-yet undiscolsed location, you'll have a bigger flat and I can come stay whilst I job hunt.
Four days ago I found out that one week from today I have a big job interview out of town. It's a better job with twice the pay in a good location. They've already booked the flight for me. I'm not used to that kind of treatment for a graphic designer, so I'll take it as a sign that they like me. I'll have to interview with someone and present my work to a small committee, which is much more intimidating than presenting to either one person or a large group.
Tonight I performed at machine gallery. As you can tell from the website, over the weekend they had a woman talk about making moonshine in the basement, yes hidden in the secret gallery.
Kevin Pittsnogle led the Mountaineers to a much needed win over Georgetown and redeemed himself after his fluke performance at Pittsburgh. Last Thursday's game left me speechless, but if that loss combined with tonight's win helps WVU beat Uconn and Pitt at home, then good for them. At least last Thursday we got to see that Herber and Collins can drive, and that the bench can pick up the slack when the starters are hurting. Given Pittsnogle's performance, WVU actually played quite well against a great defense. And tonight, by following a horrible performance with a great one, Pittsnogle demonstrated that he is a seasoned athlete who will ultimately come through for the team. So, in a strange way, the loss to Pitt has cemented my confidence in WVU. It's gonna be a great couple of tournaments! Go 'Eers!
From left to right (shortest to tallest) the 8 types of cereal in my food closet.

I just shared a "star-struck" moment with Jessica. We went to a Thai restaurant on Sunset. A while into us sitting there, dirnking eating, she freaks out, and writes something on a piece of paper.
From ESPN, rather evocative....

As I was driving up the i-5 this morning to Valenica, a guy in a Ford Mustang drove past - after turning to look at me, he swirls back to his passenger seat and yes, picks up a Terrible Towel, waving it as he sped off.
I also like Albanians and quirky art galleries that host experimental/conceptual music shows (classes on construction, electronic music and circuitboard welding).
Wooooah - are you going Brokeback Mountain on us ? Who likes long walks on the beach ? As far as I can figure out, Miranda and I live by the beach, unless there is a beach somewhere in Missouri that I havn't heard about.
